After The Smoke is a New York-based trio led by rapper Rob Coin, who hails from Florida and has been releasing music for the past few years. But since linking with producer cohorts Soft Glas and Daygee, there’s been something more expansive about ATS’ music. That’s evident on their new mixtape, Microwaves, and its standout singles like “Wallstreet” and “Moments“, both of which also arrived with gripping visuals.
And you know, it’s not like the tracks needed those videos, because they were most definitely powerful enough on their own. But this is a group that fully understands the importance of presentation in our modern age, something I’m sure Coin knows best. In addition to being a clearly talented rapper/vocalist, he’s also a designer and a developer.
