Durham, N.C.’s own Do$age continues to impress with his latest project, The Greener Side. This mostly instrumental album highlights his abilities to combine cloud rap’s haziness, boom-bap’s grit, and jazz-rap’s steady grooves. He even gets some choice vocalists, most notably Pepperboy, to rock on songs like the Bill Withers-flipping “Positive Vibin’” and the aptly titled “Different Bluntz”.
