Lovin’ seeing the planets still doing they thing! butta with his shabazz palaces and cee know with his sci-fi project.its good for hip hop to have legends and pioneers still active contributing! new jacks need to know this music FYI the “Futuristic Sci-Fi” album is straight bangin! i’ve listened to “shine” 100 times already.

It is obvious you didn’t give the album even a full listen. I wouldn’t be surprised if you just skipped through a few songs so it would sound like you knew what you were talking about. This album doesn’t sound like anything being released currently which is what makes Doodlebug true to his art. The drums on Sweet Music keep the boom bap in the slow tempo song and makes it a head nodder at the same time.

Outtaspacefunkadelic is an easy one. Everyone likes this track. ‘Nuff said.

How could you review this album and not mention Act Like U Know? This song is hard progressive hip hop at its best.

Back In Da Daze- really? No mention of this track? The drum and hook is pure eargasm. Ever had one?

I Never- The chorus on this songs is ridiculous. Its almost on some Too Short and Ant Banks type vibe.

We Bringing It Back- This song sounds like early mid 90′s and present day music at the same time. Real hip hop heads will recognize this track.

Ill’ Be Right Here- The chorus is catchy as a hook can be. Its a perfect reintroduction to the man and his music.

Advice for potholes- Instead of Doing What You Do you need to Get Up and recognize some Classic Ish and Act Like U Know. Let Doodlebug get his Shine.
