Doodlebug f. DOR – “Do What U Do” f. Donwill & Moka Only [Premiere]

I have to say, I am pretty geeked about this post. It is only once in a blue moon that you get an opportunity to premiere a song from a hip-hop legend like Doodlebug, whose most notable work came from his days in Digable Planets. But today, he isn’t about that, he is trying to push the envelope with his new team consisting of DOR and DJ Alex J. With an album called Futuristic Sci-Fi scheduled for a Sept. 27 release, the gang unleash the first single, which features Donwill of Tanya Morgan and Moka Only over a raw DJ Alex J production. It is rare that an old-school MC can come back from obscurity, but I think that Doodlebug is on to something. Futuristic Sci-Fi will be available Sept. 27 via Soulspazm/Fat Beats.
