I have an unhealthy obsession with dirty Southern rap. My neck can’t take the violent head-nodding necessary to get down to Human Torch III. Don Trip is as dirty, horn-blaring, 808s, trunk-rattling as it gets. He brings the heavy metal, saying, “Black Sabbath in my trunk / Led Zeppelin in my hand / and a hundred round drum I’m a rock ‘n roll band.” Damn. That’s some Austin Powers sexual innuendo right there! The album has production from Miami production duo Cool & Dre and it hits hard. I’ve have fists balled up for this music. It’s just a product of how hard it hits. Trip also released iHEARTStrippers today, which as it’s name suggests, is a nod to the American dollar and those who work for it. This music needs a Surgeon General’s warning: might cause broken subwoofers. Give these albums a listen, ball those fists and nod until your head falls off.
