I have to give credit where it’s due: Potholes writer Craig Jenkins hit me up last night on the awful Facebook chat program about some album he said sounds like what he wished Pilot Talk was like. I was a little turned off at first being a huge fan of Curren$y’s latest project, but I figured I’d give this a chance. And it’s pretty obvious by me posting it on here that this is clearly an album more than worth hearing. Armed with a slew of electronic-drenched, lush bangers from Tyler, The Creator & Left Brain, West Coast spitter Domo Genesis, of rap crew Odd Future, spits about, well, getting stoned out of his brain while blending in narratives and wit. It makes for yet another reason for you bastards to convince me smoke. But, shit, I can enjoy Rolling Papers without resorting to the kush, which I’ve heard has purple hair like a hoodrat.
