Last summer — as in 2010 — Sacramento’s DLRN dropped what’s still one of my favorite projects of the past few years with The Bridge. The quick-fire EP featured one of the year’s best cuts in “Trill Cosby” and now, the guys are still giving it a proper push with some visuals for “…Fallen Heroes”. It features fellow Sactown resident Chuuwee, who sounds great flowing over the bubbling synths, breezy keys, and head-nodding beat. Props to director Hashim Hassan for matching the tone of the track perfectly with his video.
