DJ Shadow & Terry Reid – “Listen” [Video]

DJ Shadow is a phenomenal producer. But when I use the word producer, I don’t just mean beatsmith. I am talking about a full-fledged producer, one who brings the best out of other artists he is working with. As is the case with Terry Reid, the English rock vocalist and guitarist who DJ Shadow has chosen to work with on his latest single, “Listen”. With a slick set of stop-motion visuals to go along with the song, this sets in motion the exciting Reconstructed compilation from Shadow that is compromised of seven discs total. That includes all of his albums as well as a live performance from 2011 in Glasgow, a bunch of DVDs, and a vinyl of The Best Of The Remixes. Pretty cool for all you die-hard Shadow fans out there.
