DJ Rhude Presents: Nas – The Found Tapes [Mixtape]

Nas probably has one of the largest collections of unreleased music of any hip-hop artist to date. If some of those songs were ever released like he did with The Lost Tapes maybe the ‘Nas has the worst ear for beats’ argument wouldn’t come up as often. A lot of Nas tracks have been floating around on the internet for years but of poor quality or riddled with DJ drops. DJ Rhude opened up his vaults and compiled a collection of these gems titled Nas -The Found Tapes. This collection includes unreleased and rare Nas material as well as the original mastered version of “Hope”, which was an acapella on the Hip-Hop Is Dead album from 2006. For those hoping for The Lost Tapes II this should hold you over until Def Jam gets their act together. [via]
