Disclosure will close out the year by looking back to their fantastic debut album, Settle. In particular, the young Lawrence brothers have enlisted a gang of producers to remix tracks from the record. And before the full release is here on Dec. 17, we’re getting a taste of it by way of Kaytranada‘s edition of the Jamie Woon-assisted “January”. While I love the original cut and don’t think it necessarily needed a remix—I feel that way about the entirety of Settle, really—I’m not going to front on Kay’s version. He injected the track with a strong dose of boogie and it’s sure to open even more doors for the Montreal producer. I have to say, it’s been awesome watching him blow up since we first covered him in the fall of 2012.
