Dido – “Let Us Move On” F. Kendrick Lamar

dido---press-pic-1---photographer---guy-arochDido, people, the lady who was sampled on Eminem’s classic 1999 record “Stan”, is now prepping the release of her fourth studio album. Em’s single was absolutely massive back in the day, but it remains unclear if this soothing pop singer can rekindle the flame that burned for her back in the ’90s. She is giving it a shot, though, enlisting one of hip-hop’s most relevant MCs in Kendrick Lamar for her first album offering, “Let Us Move On”.

I always said, though, if you’ve heard one Dido song you’ve probably heard them all. As is the case with this track, which sounds very similar to previous releases. But it is indeed a very good song and most definitely worth checking out. Especially when we get our hands on a new Kendrick Lamar verse. Dido’s new album is set to drop some time in March of 2013.
