Diamond Doves high-step over the line between forward thinking indie and ear-pleasing Beatlesian pop. Perhaps better known as the magic makers behind the band Dearland (sans frontman Elvis Perkins), this trio has been hard at work on their debut album, due this spring. (They also played backing horns for My Morning Jacket for their recent concert at Madison Square Garden. No big deal.)
