It seems live forever since DELS dropped off his mid-year album GOB in 2011, a solid effort that the UK artist is now trying to continue to build on. For his first single in a new creative chapter, DELS drops off the lethargic “You Live In My Head”. The track marks a maturation in this man’s output from both a production and vocal standpoint. Producer James Spankie, who failed to appear on GOB, paints a vivid dreamscape for DELS to spray abstract streams of lyrical consciousness. The new song also comes with a set of animated visuals, which aid this deep-thinker quite wonderfully.
“You Live In My Head” will land on DELS’ forthcoming Black Salad EP, which is due out Nov. 26 via Big Dada.
