We’re creeping closer to the release of DELS’ debut, GOB, which is due out May 9 on Big Dada. And since hearing “Trumpalump” (and the subsequent remix), I have been pretty hooked on this U.K.-based rapper’s style and flow. He’s got a smooth way about him, even when he’s spitting hungry, inspirational verses with a hint of bass in his voice. And it only helps his cause that he doubles as a visual artist because he can drop a video like this one for “GOB”, handle the work himself, and have it turn out just great. It’s relatively simplistic, but so his his message of not getting swallowed by the gob. Gotta keep trudging on, even when someone throw paint in your face.
