The roster for one of our favorite indie labels, Mello Music Group, has officially gotten a bit stronger. We received word last Friday afternoon that MMG has signed Seattle-based producer Def Dee. He joins the likes of Oddisee, yU, Apollo Brown, Has-Lo, and many others. And to show off just why he was signed, Dee has decided to give away his Cheap Heat beat tape (for a limited time, though!). After giving it a listen…well, yeah, we can definitely understand why the good folks at MMG decided to go with this cat.
