Dee-1 – “The Very Best” F. Mannie Fresh & Mos Def

New Orleans MC Dee-1 teams up with Mannie Fresh for his latest single, “The Very Best”. The first few seconds of the track sounds like a Pitbull anthem, but after things settle in, we have some fresh hip-hop on our hands. Dee-1 spits a fitting verse, while Mannie Fresh ties the knot on the hook. Oh, and apparently Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) was in the studio, as he drops down some free-flowing vocals towards the conclusion of “The Very Best”. This MVP production will land on Dee-1′s forthcoming project, #TheFocusTape, which is due out Oct. 9.
