Dee-1 – The Focus Tape [Mixtape]

We were intrigued by New Orleans’ Dee-1 when we heard his “The Very Best” single featuring guest vocals/ad libs from none other than Mannie Fresh and Yasiin Bey. As such, we couldn’t help but anticipated Dee’s new project, The Focus Tape. The free release contains 24 new tracks, four of which are interludes from Mannie, and features from Juvenile, Lecrae, Murs, Tabi Bonney, and Killer Mike. It’ll be interesting to see where Dee goes from here and if this is the tape to get him the right push to the next level.
