De La Soul To Release Entire Discography For Free, Announce New Albums

De La SoulTo celebrate the 25th anniversary of 3 Feet High and Rising, De La Soul has announced that they will release their entire discography for free download. When will this happen? Tomorrow, February 14, for 25 hours. Valentine’s Day, to be specific, from 11am EST to Saturday at noon. You’ll be able to download all the music here.

What about new music?

There’s tons of it coming apparently, including a full-length album called You’re Welcome. Their first since 2004’s The Grind Date. Not only that, but De La will also drop the Preemium Soul on the Rocks EP, which will split production from Pete Rock and DJ Premier. Yeah, things are getting serious. [via]

But wait, there’s more. Posdnuous says, “We also have this whole other album that we’re working on that… Wooo, I wish I could talk about it.” Pinch me.
