If you have played Grand Theft Auto V or kept up with news surrounding the game, then you no doubt know about the ill soundtrack put together for it. A lot of it has a very distinctive West Coast feel, which makes sense considering how the game takes place in a city (Los Santos) modeled after Los Angeles. With that in mind, it’s not surprising that tracks from Left Coast O.G.’s like Daz Dillinger made their way onto the soundtrack.
But it appears that in the case of Daz, he didn’t give the game’s creators, Take Two Interactive and Rockstar, the rights to his two tracks, “C-Walk” and “Nothin’ But The Cavi Hit”. He claims he was offered $4,271 for the rights to his songs but turned it down. And now, he wants Rockstar to either pay him an unknown amount or destroy every copy of GTAV. They apparently only have two weeks to respond as of today (Oct. 11). [via]

Who the hell turns down getting their track on Grand Theft Auto?!?!? He might be a legend but what an actual idiot….
This dude is going to be so rich its rediculous.
Fuck that nigga he know’s damn well he ain’t getting shit just watch they are goin to find a way around it only 2 damn songs
Get all yours, Daz.
Get yours, Daz.
$4K is nothing compared to what Rockstar will make off of these games and also selling the soundtrack on iTunes.
“destroy every copy of GTAV” hahahahaha
hope he gets his money tho.
