“Sweeney Song” is a new collaboration between Danny Brown and Mndsgn (!!!), and it stems from an upcoming compilation entitled Classic Drug References Vol. 1. Other artists on the release, which drops Dec. 3 digitally, including Blu, Quelle Chris, and Knxwledge. In other words, this thing is loaded with some of our favorite cats here at Potholes. And leading the way, of course, is the straight-up ill “Sweeney Song”, which sounds like a track Danny would have included on The Hybrid or maybe even XXX. Sure enough, it was actually recorded in between those two albums, according to a press release.
