Rocket Juice and the Moon is a recently formed supergroup consisting of Damon Albarn, Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tony Allen, drummer of Fela Kuti. The group has a self-titled debut album coming out next month on Albarn’s label Honest Jon’s. The album will include Erykah Badu on certain tracks, one of which is the rather funky single, “Hey Shooter”. The cocktail of influences in this jam are eclectic, to say the least, and it sets the pace for an incredibly exciting album. Rocket Juice and the Moon is due out March 26. [via]
