If there’s one thing I can definitively say about Dam-Funk, it’s that he loves his fans. Why else would he record new material at the wee hours of the night in a Los Angeles studio and share it moments later? He wants us to stay with him every step of the way toward his new album. At least, that’s how I interpret his sharing of musical gifts on his Soundcloud, like his latest track, “Never Again”. The guitar-heavy tune is accompanied by the message that “Funk is NOT a fad… It’s a way of life.” Indeed.
