Dam-Funk‘s always-glorious Soundcloud got a little bit more glorious a day or two ago with the upload of “Bliss”, which I’m only just seeing now. As he wrote below the embed, he recorded and wrote all the music himself without the use of loops or samples sometime this month. Additionally, I wanted to note that this aptly titled joint, which is surely a slab of musical bliss, should not be overlooked by even the most casual Dam-Funk fan. I wouldn’t be surprised if a finished or reworked version of “Bliss” ended up on an upcoming project. I mean, longtime fans recognized that his new single with Snoop Dogg, “Faden Away“, was once a mere “Soundcloud joint.”
