In preparation for their full-length album, Exile and Johaz come together as Dag Savage and release the Salvation mixtape. The tape boasts a stellar offering of features, including Blu, Aloe Blacc, Fashawn, Gonjasufi, Adad and more. Oh, and even Exile gets a verse on that banger. There are a lot of quality cuts to choose from on this tape, but to hear three of Exile’s strongest MC prodigies in Johaz, Fashawn and Blu on “Growing Pains” is a pretty special treat. Salvation is brief, weighing in at just 11 tracks, but it is the perfect appetizer for what is sure to be a strong offering in the Dag Savage EP, set to drop Jan. 15.
