It’s been a big past two days for CYNE. After reporting on their comeback album yesterday, the trio is now bringing us more new material with “Mistletoe”. This track’s title might give you the impressive that this is an upbeat, Christmas-referencing affair but, yeah, it’s anything but that. Instead of championing the smooches that you might have underneath mistletoe, the tune is essentially a kiss-off anthem for clearly heartbroken rapper Cise Star. Among other things, he mentions that he’s posted up on the couch eating canned beef stew over couscous and still wondering why he loved her in the first place. Damn.
