Curren$y – “She Don’t Want a Man” [Video]

Call him Spitta, call him Curren$y, whatever you call him at least call him a graduate. A 2009 XXL Freshman, he has excelled in the classroom. Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk II produced by Ski Beatz, was a thesis of, “Smoking Paper: An Exploration in the Growth of an Emcee.” With Weekend at Burnie’s on the horizon it has been highly anticipated and criticized. Now, several leaks later, he’s offered a video for “She Don’t Want a Man”. There are some soft, waving synths in the background, a beautiful lady on the metro and Spitta saying, “She was a little red corvette, fast as hell, turn heads on the set.” Have yet to give Weekend at Burnie’s a listen, but on June 28, we’ll all know for sure if this LP is worth all the hype.
