Daedelus, who we have come to know and love as a fabulous musician both on and off the stage, has recently constructed his own label called Magical Properties to release not only his own music, but other artists as well. Like, Justin Ledford, aka LDFD, whose 19-year-old self has been DJing clubs in Texas for about two years now. His music is caught somewhere between the beat and bass scenes that have been bubbling up across the country — quite a splendid blend of genres, no doubt. LDFD’s music, while scarce, will finally be released to the public on July 19 by way of a 4-track EP titled Outtacontrol. To promote the EP, Potholes has the honor of unleashing a splendid remix that LDFD did of Crystal Waters’s hit, “Gypsy Woman”. Adding in some vocal samples from Slick Rick like a true DJing pro, this remix offers a wide array of different skills you can expect to hear more of from this talented young artist in the near future.
