The beatmaker from Ohio recently released Mediafire Kingdom, a 35-track project that sounds like if Com Truise and Jazz Jackrabbit had a baby. You combine a plethora of seemingly-dated, funky synths, a working knowledge of futuristic-sci-fi cinema and a clear vision—this album is the result—something completely out-of-this-world awesome. Contact Lens has more than seven releases under his belt and this one is by far the most ambitious. In my opinion it’s the most rewarding listen too. Download this one now.
