(6/2/12)Mallory Pickard and I had the pleasure of attending King Mez’s album release party last Saturday (June 2) at King’s Barcade in Raleigh, N.C. While there, I guzzled PBRs and tried to get as many photos I could of the shindig. Mez, of course, headlined and absolutely killed it running through tracks from his soon-coming My Everlasting Zeal.

Jams like “Monte Carlo” and “The Allure” sounded even better in a live setting and it almost goes without saying that he had the place going wild during his two-part set. A few die-hard fans even helped him spit some rhymes, which was especially impressive given the fact My Everlasting Zeal isn’t even out yet.
