It looks like Common might just have his hip-hop swagger back. We were first exposed to Common’s new found hunger on “Ghetto Dreams” the No I.D. produced boom-bapper that featured Com and Nas trading bars. That single, of course, served as the first listen off of Common’s ninth LP, The Dreamer, The Believer. To keep things moving, Common unveils “Blue Sky”, another No I.D. beat, that samples none other than “Mr. Blue Sky”. While this is only a radio rip, I thought it was worth a post as we wait for that CDQ. The Dreamer, The Believer will be available Nov. 22 via Warner Bros. Records.

This is fresh. You can definitely hear the Kanye West influence all over the track from the beat to the lyrics.
