While purists might argue their affinity towards Common‘s output has lessened, it’s still evident the Chicago MC is putting out some quality music. Nobody’s Smiling is no exception. To help tour the release, Common is setting sail on a late fall tour that will hit a number of major cities. The kicker is that Jay Electronica will be Common’s touring mate. There’s no indication as to what you might expect to hear from Jay on this tour, but we can only hope it’s new material. And if he ever decided to actually move forth with the release of his highly anticipated album, he could headline a tour like this on his own. But I digress.
