Nicolay’s Off The Shelf series is officially back. You might remember that he started it back in 2009, when he decided that he would dig into his vaults and liberate some tracks he felt just had to be heard. They included a swoon-worthy remix of United Soul’s “Soul Clap” and a moody take on “Dakari” by the Last Poets. And now that he’s looking through his hard-drives again, the Dutch producer has found a track that was supposed to land on Dutch Masters Vol. 2. But because time flies — his words — that project never came to be. He still banged out a few cuts, though, like this addictive remix of Collective Effort’s “Until My Life’s Gone”.
