It’s become apparent that a new Cocaine 80s project is imminent. Yesterday we heard the more rap-tinged “Queen to Be” and then late last night/early this morning the No I.D.-led group dropped off “Take My Keys”. It’s a much more subdued track than its predecessor, focusing on acoustic guitar strokes and James Fauntleroy II’s smooth vocals. Some might feel inclined to label this “coffee shop music,” but hey, if they played this in cafes I’d probably be more willing to go to them. Right? Stream it below.
