CL Smooth – “Ask About Me”

Honestly, I didn’t expect much from a new solo CL Smooth track, especially one that didn’t sport Pete Rock production. Never doubt a living legend, though, as CL proves he can still hang with the best by way of “Ask About Me”. While many other notable rappers from the early days have faded away and tried to make comebacks, Smooth does a superb job of picking a beat he can be comfortable with and still making the track sound fresh. This track will land on CL Smooth’s forthcoming The Emancipation Of Corey Penn, which we are very excited about all of a sudden.
