Chuuwee – “The Livest One” p. AbJo

I had previously seen the name Chuuwee, a rapper who hails from Sacramento, damn near everywhere on the web, but for whatever reason, I hadn’t peeped his music until yesterday. It was then that San Diego-based producer AbJo sent me with his collaboration with Chuuwee called “The Livest One”. And you can bet your ass that I immediately began digging for more music from the West Coast rapper. To say he complements AbJo’s slightly blunted beat would be an understatement. Chuuwee weaves in and out of the keys-driven production with ease, switching from breathless to meditative flows on the track. I’m hopeful that this is the first of many tracks we’ll hear from these two.
