When I made that post announcing the formation of Pulled Over By The Cops, I glossed over the fact that Chuck Inglish, of the Cool Kids, is producing an upcoming free project from Chip Tha Ripper, Gift Raps. As such, it makes even more sense that these guys could find the time to put together a collaborative album. I mean, Gibbs was probably already working with the Chuck again anyway, so why not?
Anyway, here we have the fish-bowled visuals for Chip and Chuck’s “Light One Up”, a blunted banger that makes me wish I could…um…I think you know where I’m going there. If the entirety of Gift Raps sounds this dope, we better make sure we remember it for our “Best Free Albums/Mixtapes of 2011” list at the end of the year.
