Remember Chi-Ali? The dude who released The Fabulous Chi-Ali back in 1992, then going on to make several Native Tongue appearances with De La Soul, Black Sheep and more. Things turned for the worst, though, as he we was incarcerated in 2001 for killing a man, and even appeared on America’s Most Wanted. He served a 12-year sentence, but has recently been released and is back on his hip-hop grind.
Unlike Shyne, he seems to be doing things properly as far as a comeback goes. Teaming up with Fat Joe on his latest single “Games & Things”, the two praise their good fortune over an incredibly soulful Showbiz beat. There is no word on when we can expect a full project from Chi-Ali, but this is a very promising start.
