I stumbled upon this EP from two of my state’s finest hip-hop acts in perhaps the most random way possible. While browsing Facebook yesterday under the Potholes account, I noticed that Star Slinger had posted something he called a “sick lil find.” Being the curious person I am — shouts to Harry Caray — I clicked on the post and found that he was linking to an EP between Ocean State natives Chachi Carvalho and j.DePina. As my Lil’ Rhody heart soared, I began listening and knew that I had to share this one with the rest of you. Dusty production + quick, efficient bars = instant win.
