Cee-Lo does no wrong. My fascination with this man started early on when I become aware of his work with Goodie Mob and Outkast. But I wouldn’t say it took off for me until I heard the record of all records, “Crazy”. Yes folks, Gnarls Barkley is the pinnacle of pop music in my mind. What Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo have created is bar none. Catchy, dancey, conscious, they hit all the sweet spots. But not only has Cee-Lo done a ton of collaborative work, he also has a mighty fine solo career going as well. That is where The Lady Killer comes in, his latest album since the 2004 effort, Cee-Lo Green Is The Soul Machine. “Georgia” is the latest single from that album, a fine little tune with a vintage feel and an absolutely huge chorus.
