Captain Murphy – “The Ritual”

So. We still don’t know who Captain Murphy is, though most folks seem to think it’s a rapping alias of Flying Lotus. Whoever it is, he’s making some warped, forward-thinking hip-hop and we’re officially addicted. Sure, the whole mystery thing is especially intriguing, but the music is dope, too. On his latest track, the Captain goes in over Just Blaze’s “Dear Moleskine” beat for “The Ritual”, an oddball rap journey if there ever was one.
