In what must be glorious news to plenty of y’all out there, Cannibal Ox have revealed plans of a reunion show in their native New York City. The duo of Vordul Mega and Vast Aire dropped one of the best hip-hop albums of the 2000s in Cold Vein, a grimy, thrilling journey through the harsher portions of NYC and life in general. This announcement doesn’t guarantee a follow-up to Cold Vein or anything like that—I mean, who knows if El-P would be down to produce for them again—but it will definitely lead to one live as hell concert.
