Cadence Weapon – “Loft Party”

Previously, Cadence Weapon decided to spit some bars over Grimes‘ grimy (sorry) synthesizers and crunchy drums on boom-bap anthem “88“.  But for his latest track, the Canadian rapper has gone in a different direction. On “Loft Party”, he takes the ill-as-hell production from Meek Mill’s “House Party” — shut up, you know you like it — and turns the track into his own personal ode to, well, loft parties. It’s basically another chance for dude to showcase his absurdly tight flow and also show some love to the venues he’s played over the years that have since been closed.
