Not too long ago Grimes was interviewed by fellow Canadian, Nardwuar, where she stated, “Bulldogs, they give me power.” It wasn’t odd or anything. Thing is, she makes fantastic music–the newest gem being a remix of Cadence Weapon‘s “Conditioning”. I don’t care where she’s harnessing her “power” as long as she continues crafting joints like this. This remix features her top register vocals on a dialed down production. She lets the Canuck rapper kill his bars and ultimately creates a crafty electronic jam. If you’re looking for more punch be on the lookout for Cadence Weapon’s May 29 release, Hope in Dirt City.
