Bukkweat Bill – 8886 [EP]

bukkweat-epOver the past few months, I’ve gained a bit of an affinity for the young gun Bukkweat Bill. He’s been a releasing machine, dropping three very unique singles until the release of his first ever full length project, the eight track 8886 EP. The name is a reference to Bukk’s area code, 386 (three eight’s and a six, ha!), better known as Volusia County, Fla. Newly verified on Twitter, there’s always hilarity, and his Vines are comprable to Riff Raff in absurdity and greatness. All of this comes into play to create the 8666 EP, a truly unique freshman release from Bukk Nasty.

If at this point you’re still thinking “Should I?”, think no longer, because the satanic-inspired, weed fueled Bukkweat Bill does work on this project. With producer credits on seven out of the eight tracks, Bukkweat Bill balances humor with skilled bars perfectly, all over some minimal, but still banging production. Tracks like the Softwehr produced “666 Forever”, the track that gained the attention of Diplo and Mad Decent, can be found being rinsed in the club or being blasted through two 12′ subs, while tracks like “Paper or Plastik” are deviously jammable and perfect for a night of sitting around enjoying some lean, if you’re into that.

Expect sexually deviant, powerfully delivered lines, all wrapped up in the hilarious, upside-down-cross-emblazoned package that is Bukkweat Bill, and enjoy the 8666 EP. Stream below and grab the download here.
