So here’s what happened: These two underground producers, Bugseed and Ill.Sugi, got in contact with one another and decided they’d meet up to create a beat tape. The result? Flipping Formats, which dropped wayyy back in May. I unfortunately missed out on the project when it dropped back then, though, as has been the case with a lot of dusty-ass instrumental projects. But, as I’ve said in the past, I get the feeling this flew under other folks’ radars. So if you’re in the mood for some sample-based goodness or just want some new beats to write to because you’re an aspiring MC, you shouldn’t pass on this.
