We’re admittedly a little late posting this new track from the guys known as Brown Recluse, but hopefully you’re just seeing this one for the first time and not sighing as you scroll down. Punk. Anyway, “Impressions of a City Morning” finds this crew of Philadelphia musicians crafting something equally psych and pop-friendly. It’s catchy, but not without being at least slightly challenging. I have a good feeling more than a few of you will be checking for their Evening Tapestry album, which is due out Feb. 15.
