Brother Ali gets the gears churning once again, this time to prep his relationship-focused EP, The Bite Marked Heart. Enlisting Jake One and Ant of Atmosphere to produce the entire 7-track EP, Brother Ali is sure to have a lush instrumental canvas for him to spray his lyrical wisdom. For our first taste before the release next week, Ali drops the visuals for the Nikki Jean assisted Jake One production, “Shine On”. With direction from Dave Wilson, the video does a fine job of capturing the emotions this Rhymesayers MC projects over the mic. The Bite Marked Heart EP will be available Feb. 13, on the eve of Valentine’s Day.
