Brother Ali knows a thing or two about eloquently speaking his mind, whether it’s in an interview or on a track. And in the latter case, he did that and then some on “Mourning In America“, the sort of title-track off his new album with Jake One. As if his words weren’t strong enough, they are driven home in the track’s provocative and engaging video. Hats off to director Todd Angkasuwan on this one. Dude did the damn thing.
