Virginia rapper Bobby Blunt and producer Ta-Ku came together for this EP, A Traveler’s Notebook. Their styles are a nice complement and though Bobby Blunt is a competent rapper, my favorite moments are when he trades the raps for some singing. My favorite track is “Memories”, where at times he sounds like he’s doing his best John Legend impression on the hook. All in all, it’s good stuff. [via]
