Gary Morris is a man with maybe more aliases than all of those listed by Outkast on “D.F. (Interlude).” With 23 releases spanning four years, his bandcamp page may look more like homework than what it is: good and interesting music covering several genres. I first heard of Morris from his Bob China Supergroup release called The Colours Change, which I thought was released in the same year I heard it: 2010. Nope. 2006. But those sample-based hip hop instrumentals are just the tip of the ice berg (is that cliche even relevant with all these temperature changes…?). I’ve only heard the music of his Positive Face and Bob China aliases, so, tell me what the others are like if you get a chance. Gotta catch ‘em all, B.

I know that sample! Its Honey Cone, I believe the track is called “All The King’s Horses (All The King’s Men).” Made a beat with that myself, sounds pretty similar.
